The $25 administrative fee covers the cost of opening and maintaining an account. It is a one-time annual fee.
(Consignors receive): 50% of each item consigned.
All items are accepted for a two (2) month consignment period. IMPORTANT: The pickup date is exactly 60 days from the date of consignment. ALL unsold items must be picked up between this date and the expiration date which is seven (7) days following the pickup date. Please call the shop prior to picking up items. ***All unclaimed items following the expiration date will become property of Bird in Hand.
Bird in Hand reserves the right to limit the number and type of items accepted for sale. All Items must be clean. See below for a general list of merchandise we are accepting. Items previously consigned which have remained unsold during the initial sixty (60) day consignment period, may not be re-consigned.
The consigning team will establish a fair price for all items, taking into consideration current market values and trends.
Checks for sold items are processed monthly as items sell.
Bird in Hand is not responsible for lost, stolen or broken merchandise.

Absolutely no ivory. No artificial flowers, damaged, toys, dolls or crocheted items. No visibly damaged/tarnished, chipped, soiled, broken or obviously repaired items. No unframed Art work. Some wear and tear is acceptable, all items are subject to our quality standards of acceptance.
